A Tennessee woman allegedly carjacked multiple people, including one in which she shot a victim and used her 5-year-old child as a shield, according to police.
Bethany Wilson, 24, committed three carjackings in a few hours on Thursday before crashing one of the stolen vehicles on I-95. That night, she was arrested by police.

Wilson first stole a Nissan Juke from a 51-year-old woman pumping gas at around 4:42 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Clarksville Police Department. Wilson approached the victim as she was filling her car with gas and pointed a gun at her before fleeing in the car.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired at an intersection about 30 minutes later and found a man who claimed a white female stole his Mercedes-Benz. According to the victim, the woman fired a shot and used her five-year-old child as a shield.
Police later recovered both the Nissan and the Mercedes.
Wilson was later discovered to have stolen another vehicle, a Ford F-150, which she allegedly crashed on Interstate 24.
Wilson was later discovered to be staying at a Days Inn. Officers arrived at the hotel around 11 a.m. Thursday and quickly arrested her.
Her child was in the hotel room with her and was unharmed.
