Gino Odjick Cause Of Death: Gino Odjick, a former NHL player, died of a heart attack on Sunday while on his way to get leg bandages at a Vancouver hospital.
He was 52.
Odjick was diagnosed with amyloidosis, a disease that attacks the organs and the heart, in 2014.
As of Monday morning, three of Odjick’s four NHL teams had expressed their condolences.

Between 1990 and 2002, Odjick played in the NHL for the Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders, Philadelphia Flyers, and Montreal Canadiens.
Odjick holds the record for most minutes spent in the penalty box in Canucks history, with 2,127.

Odjick led the league in penalty minutes with 371 during the 1996-97 season.
