Authorities in El Paso, Texas, arrested a suspect last week related to the alleged assault and attempted kidnapping of a pregnant real estate agent in Tucson, Arizona.
Juan Nunley Jr. was arrested Wednesday and booked as a fugitive from Arizona in the El Paso County Jail under the alias Donasti Davonsiea, according to court records reported by local Tucson outlet KOLD News 13.
Nunley allegedly assaulted the pregnant real estate agent with a weapon and attempted to restrain her on Oct. 8 in Tucson while she was giving a home tour to a prospective buyer.
The real estate agent managed to flee and call 911, but she reportedly miscarried three days later as a result of her injuries, according to authorities.
Following their investigation, detectives identified Nunley as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.
Authorities had offered a $13,000 reward for information leading to Nunley’s arrest.
Nunley has been convicted of crimes and sentenced to prison multiple times in Pima and Graham counties in Arizona over the last two decades, according to Arizona Department of Corrections records obtained by Tucson.com.
Nunley was taken into custody in El Paso, according to the Tucson Police Department, but no further information was available at the time of publication.
