A man has been charged with the murder of two Italians found dead in a flat in Teesside.
The bodies of Antonino Calabrò, 26, known as Nino, and 20-year-old Francesca Di Dio were discovered by police in Thornaby Road, Thornaby, on Wednesday.
Andrea Cardinale, 21, of Thornaby Road, is scheduled to appear in Teesside Magistrates’ Court on December 26.
Cleveland Police said officers were supporting their families.
The couple was reportedly engaged to be married.
