Bruce Maurice Henry, 60, of The Bronx, has been publicly identified as the pediatrician found with his throat slashed in a Manhattan park.

The NYPD did not provide any additional information or speculate on a possible motive for the heinous slaying.
“The investigation is ongoing,” police said.

Henry’s body was discovered early Friday. According to sources, the physician had been stabbed several times in addition to having his throat cut.
The doctor was discovered unconscious and unresponsive on a stairwell near 120th Street in Marcus Garvey Park in Manhattan around 2:15 a.m., according to cops and sources.

The victim, a Spuyten Duyvil resident, was pronounced dead on the scene shortly before 3 a.m.
